I started motocross when i was just 3 years old on a Honda QR50, my dad got me a KX 60 for my sixth birthday and I done my first race at 7 and a half years old. I  then went on to race a KX65, KTM65, small wheel YZ85's, Big Wheel 85's and now a YZ125/ YZF250. In 2005, I competed in the MRO Superteen championship, then moved to Supermoto, competing in the KTM European Red Bull championship and the Bracken KTM 660 cup in 2006 where i finished 2nd.

I then made a huge step up into the European Superstock 600cc championship that runs alongside World SBK. I finished 12th in my first year and am competing in it again in 2008 with plans for World Supersport in 2009.CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO!

Beowulf Racing at Assen Round 2

Having tested at the Assen 4.555KM Dutch circuit prior to the event the Beowulf Racing team arrived in confident mood and in the opening qualifying session Gino Rea landed on the front row in fourth place.

Gino Rea (almost) live on the BBC!

 

To cap off our week of interviews with the Beowulf crew, the BBC have kindly granted us permission to host a copy of Gino Rea's appearance on the Radio London Evening Sports Show with presenter David Croft.
